As someone who spends majority of his time on the internet, I come across many websites that claim to pay users for engaging in some activities and all sorts. I usually test out the ones I find enticing to see if it’s worth talking about or introducing my readers to. AiClowdy happens to be one of the platforms I recently decided to check out and after checking it out and even spending money to upgrade my account to what they call “silver plan” I’m left with regrets.
Regrets not because the platform isn’t paying people on a near daily basis but my regret stems from the fact that, the platform is designed in such a way that, you won’t easily be able to earn except you have the means to refer others. I believe most of you on this page already have a slight idea of what AiClowdy is about, so I’ll spend less time on breaking down their offers and more of my time on explaining to you the rationale behind my regrets.
However, before we get started. It is important to state clearly that, this is not in anyway an endorsement or advertisement of the platform but a critical analysis done with the intent of informing readers so they know the potential upsides and downsides of what they’re getting into.
What’s AiClowdy?
AiClowdy claims to be a task Earning website where users view or see ads to earn on a daily basis. Apart from the ads, they also claim users can earn by referring friends and family members.
The platform is not free as most of you already know by now. It has several plans but the minimum is 1,000 Naira which is the silver plan. When you upgrade to the lowest plan, you’re limited to a certain amount of money per day. It works in a very common structure — your earning rate is heavily dependent on the amount of money you spend on the site, meaning the higher your plan, the higher your earning rate.
Therefore, for someone like me who upgraded his account to the silver plan, my earning is fixed at 600 Naira from viewing of ads excluding the referral program. It’s not much but for the amount spent on upgrading the account, I feel it’s understandable.
Since earnings are dependent on the plan purchased or upgraded to, influencers and referrers tend to encourage their downlines to upgrade their accounts to much higher plans as the referral commission from users who upgrade to the lowest plan and users on the mid level plan or highest plan are not the same.
Questionable Things About The Platform
There are some questionable Things you need to know if you have plans to participate especially if you have no plans to refer anyone or don’t feel comfortable doing all these refer to earn updates.
1. Withdrawal Terms Differ
The withdrawal Terms Differ for users who are requesting payment for referral commissions and users who are requesting payment for the tasks they’ve done on the site. That’s actually one of the first few red flags I spotted immediately after sign up.
There are two withdrawal conditions. As a user who is completing tasks, you earn and accumulate what is known as AiClowdy points and these points can’t be withdrawn anytime you feel like. You can’t just wake up in the morning and decide to place withdrawals.
According to what I found out, the withdrawal date or conversion date is on the 25th of August, meaning that, as a user who can’t refer, you have to keep completing tasks till the stated date before you will be allowed to request for payment.
You may be wondering why and how it’s questionable. Well, wait till you find out the referral or affiliate commission withdrawal terms. Referrers can withdraw their referral rewards anytime and day as long as they’ve earned up to 3,000 Naira, meaning that if you can’t refer, you would not be able to place any withdrawal until the said date and even on said date, it’s still a 50-50 thing.
2. Unusually High Registration Bonus
Upon sign up and upgrading my account with ₦1,000, I was given 10,000 Naira worth or points instantly just for sign up. Someone who’s not had profound knowledge of earning platforms may rejoice thinking it’s a positive news or development but in the actual sense it’s as negative as negative can be.
It’s negative in the sense that, it’s too unrealistic to be true. Where will the funds to pay such bonuses be gotten from? I feel the bonus is just to make users comfortable. How can you spend 1,000 Naira and be given 10,000 Naira? Doesn’t even make much sense.
3. Website Navigation is Difficult
AiClowdy website is filled with adverts that disrupt user experience and make it even hard for users to even enjoy the platform. Some site owners tend to embed such annoying pop up ads on their for the sake of generating ad revenue from them.

Personally, I don’t take sites with numerous pop up ads seriously because they’re most scam or spammy. Therefore, it’s in your own best interest to think properly before making the decision whether or not to join with your money.
Why I Regret Joining
It’s simple and I believe I’ve already explained all the main red flags that made me regret Spending my hard earned money on the platform. They are numerous.
The fact that withdrawal isn’t readily available for users who focus on completing tasks to the fixed dates and poor website Navigation. I feel it’s pointless participating further as the chances of actually making any withdrawal without referring is very slim.
The only set of users happily making daily withdrawals are the referrers and most of them are being economical with the truth. If you can’t refer, it’s pointless signing up and even if you can refer, just bear in mind that you ought to inform your referrals about the pros and cons otherwise they may end up being super angry at you.
Final Verdict
AiClowdy is not the type of platform you should join with your money IF you can’t refer. Referring is compulsory from what I could gather thus the earlier you realise that, the better for you. Imagine spending up to ₦5,000 Naira only to end up not receiving a dime unless you refer others to spend their own money using your link.
The structure is highly deceptive. Therefore, it’s a No-no as long as I’m concerned. If you must participate even after reading this article, endeavour to do deeper research, ask people who truly mean well for their communities questions and don’t just conclude from what you see influencers post on social media.
